RCPCH webinar: Changing times in Paediatric Respiratory Infections
Lower respiratory tract infection is one of the commonest causes of paediatric hospital admission and ED attendance. The last few years have seen dramatic changes in circulating viral and bacterial respiratory pathogens as well as the publication of new evidence on antibiotic treatment of community-acquired lower respiratory tract infections. This webinar will review the data alongside the management of complex pneumonia. In addition, it will focus on pneumonia as a presenting feature of immunodeficiency or other chronic condition and how to identify these patients.

The emphasis is on simple measures which safeguard vulnerable babies and give them the best possible start, but later modules will take you into the more complex diagnoses and treatments undertaken in more advanced neonatal units.
Detecting Anorectal Malformations – Core
This course is designed by surgeons, midwives and paediatricians and aims to help healthcare professionals in detecting anorectal malformations. The course goes through the normal anatomy of the perineum and the national screening framework.
