Lower respiratory tract infection is one of the commonest causes of paediatric hospital admission and ED attendance. The last few years have seen dramatic changes in circulating viral and bacterial respiratory pathogens as well as the publication of new evidence on antibiotic treatment of community-acquired lower respiratory tract infections. This webinar will review the data alongside the management of complex pneumonia. In addition, it will focus on pneumonia as a presenting feature of immunodeficiency or other chronic condition and how to identify these patients.
