DCH Clinical exam preparation – online
This one-day course will familiarise you with the Diploma of Child Health Clinical exam. You will gain a greater understanding of the assessment criteria, the key skills required and the pitfalls to avoid by focusing on what the exam is expecting from you, and, through practice, how to approach each station.
MRCPCH/DCH Foundation of Practice exam preparation – online learning
This online learning package will explore topics within the FOP exam that previous candidates have found particularly challenging. You will be quizzed on case scenarios to help you understand the key knowledge and skills required. Through faculty presentations, you will learn more about the various topics covered as well as practical tips of how to approach the exam and the pitfalls to avoid so you can present to the exam with confidence.

Continued Professional Development (CPD)
We do not issue CPD certificates for webinars or podcasts, as we are unable to verify participation.
However, you are still able to record as a CPD activity as you normally would, detailing what you have learned and how the learning will benefit your practice.
When recording the activity, delegates should focus on the reflection and detail the following:
- What did you learn?
- What effect has/will the learning had/have on your current practice?
- What further learning or action, if any, is needed as a result of the original learning activity?

Professor Kamila Hawthorne MBE
Chair of RCGP Council
Kamila has been a GP for 34 years, with 27 of them spent working in South Wales. She qualified from Somerville College, Oxford, in 1984, and completed her GP training in Nottingham in 1988. Kamila was Head of the Graduate Entry Medicine Programme at Swansea University and is on the Trustee Boards of the Kings Fund, and Cardiff Women’s Aid. She is also a Bevan Commissioner and a Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales. Kamila has a deep interest in medical education, and believes that we should be training excellent, caring and inclusive clinicians, for a global society. She is passionate about the role of GPs in patient care and as advocates for patients. Her research and clinical working interests have been in health inequalities and access to health services, (her MD was based on working with BAME patient groups with Type 2 diabetes in Nottingham, Manchester and Cardiff). With wide experience of general practice and running community projects in diabetes and heart disease, she has been named ‘GP of the Year’ twice and was awarded an MBE in 2017 for services to General Practice.
